Action Cameras are the best way to capture memorable footage from a variety of experiences. There are tons of companies out there that sell such cameras in different designs, specifications and price ranges.
However, there is one format of action footage which doesn’t receive as much attention from camera manufacturers as one would hope; 3D action footage. Introducing a formidable product for this field is a company called Vairdo, with their cute little 3D Action Camera, called EYSE.
This tiny device is capable of shooting high-definition 3D video with the help of two 5 MP lenses. This video can be saved in 3D/2D format on the device, or live-streamed through Wi-Fi to anywhere else in the world.
The receiver can view this video through a VR headset, and even talk back to the person shooting it, thanks to a two way audio setup. The whole setup is cased inside a shock proof and water proof body, which can be tracked through GPS.
Powering this machine are two 1200Mah lithium-ion batteries, which provide approximately 2 hours of shooting while live streaming. Since these batteries are easily removable, you can by spare ones in case of extended usage outdoors. The batteries can be charged through dedicated chargers, or through wireless charging as well.
Currently, the device is up for funding on Kickstarter, where you can get one for a $349 pledge, which is quite cheap considering the estimated retail price of $699. So, if you want one for yourself, go book it now.
